Whiteline Road Services has ongoing opportunities for Line Markers – all levels considered, and labourers.
What the role involves (but not limited to):
- Application (or assistance) of various line marking materials
- General housekeeping
- Day and night shifts as required, with overtime available
- Occasional weekend shifts (with advance notice)
- Travel for work away from home, for up to 7 days at a time
- Positive and professional interaction with colleagues, customers and the public
- Award rates with overtime and living away expenses paid where applicable
What we're looking for:
- Hands-on experience in applying line marking materials
- Medium Rigid Truck Licence (minimum) – manual
- Traffic Controller Tickets – Implement Traffic Control Plan (or willing to obtain)
- White Construction Card
Ability to read and understand plans, set out works, or follow directions - Reasonable mathematics knowledge
- Authorised driving record check
- Own reliable transport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- General knowledge of machinery maintenance
While not essential, the following skills will be considered an advantage:
- Welding/fabrication (minor jobs)
- Forklift ticket
- Mechanical skills
